Dhaka, May 5 (UNB) – A hat-trick by Sumon guided Uttar Baridhara Club to earn a comfortable 4-0 goals victory over Farashganj Sporting Club in the Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) Football at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Shipahi Mohammad Mustafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur on Sunday.

Sumon made a hat-trick scoring three goals in the 14th, 28th and 79th minutes while Arif netted the other goal in the 35th minute.

In the day’s other match, Victoria Sporting Club beat Motijheel T&T Club by a solitary goal scored by Rana in the 68th minute at the same venue.

Meanwhile, in the Dhaka Metropolis 2nd Division Football League, Khilgaon Football Academy beat Mugda Samaj Kallyan and Krira Sangsad by 3-0 goals at the same venue on Sunday.

Reazuddin, Sabuj Roy and Abidul Islam Mesbah scored one each for the winners.
