Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club chased down the target of 172 runs (set by DL Method) against Dhaka Leopards, thanks to 63 runs off 56 balls by opener Shykat Ali.
Fazle Mahmud remained unbeaten on 41 off 79 balls; Towhid Hridoy scored 54 off just 30 balls to help Sheikh Jamal reach the target in just 31.3 overs with eight wickets to spare.
Earlier, Dhaka Leopards struggled against a disciplined Sheikh Jamal bowling attack, managing to score 169 runs in 39.3 overs.
In the other match of the day at the BKSP Ground, Prime Bank Cricket Club held off a late fightback from City Club to win the match by seven runs.
Al-Amin and Alok Kapali scored 40 and 55, respectively, as Prime Bank finished at 216-6 in 42 overs. In response, City Club started strongly but lost wickets in quick succession after the dismissal of Joyraz Sheik. Asif Ahmed's half-century was not enough to ensure victory for his team.
In the third match of the day at Fatullah, Legends of Rupganj beat Agrani Bank Cricket Club by 20 runs under the DL Method.
Azim Nazir Kazi's century (102 off 105 balls) helped Agrani Bank score 243-8 in 44 overs. However, Legends of Rupganj chased down the new target (set by DL Method) of 215 runs in 38.5 overs, thanks to an unbeaten knock of 71 from Irfan Shukkur.
