However, Bangladeshi pacers Taskin Ahmed and Rubel Hossain scalped three and two wickets respectively.
Ireland A won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 33 runs in the first wicket stand. Jack Tector was the first Irish batsman to get dismissed. Rubel took the first wicket for the Tigers with the help of Mahmudullah Riyad catch.
In the second wicket partnership, Ireland A added another 46 runs. The stand was broken by Shakib Al Hasan when he removed James Shannon, who scored 18 off 25.

For Bangladesh, Taskin Ahmed was the best bowler grabbing three wickets for 66 runs in 10 overs. Along with him, Rubel took two wickets for 63 runs in 9 overs. Apart from them, Farhad Reza, Shakib and Mehidy Hasan Miraz took one wicket each.
Bangladesh ODI captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza did not bowl in the match while Mustafizur Rahman, who is yet to get his full fitness, was also sidelined.
Bangladesh will start their tri-series assault on Tuesday taking on West Indies. After that, the Tigers will play their rest of league stage games on May 9, 13 and 15 against Ireland, West Indies and Ireland respectively. If they can finish at the top two, they will play the final with another team of the top two.
After the tri-series, Bangladesh will fly to England where they will take part in the ICC World Cup 2019. The Tigers will face South Africa on June 2 in their first match of the World Cup.
