Earlier, touring Bangladesh made a good start in the Tri-nation one-day series beating hosts England by six wickets in the first match at the same venue last Monday while India also made a good start beating England by five wickets on Sunday.
In the day’s match, India opted to bat first after winning the toss and scored a good total featuring a captain’s knock of unbeaten 100 runs off just 97 balls hitting seven fours and four sixes by right handed batsman Priyam Garg.
Besides, opener YBK Jaisal contributed 90-ball 63 runs featuring six fours and a six, lower order De Jurel 34, Tilak Varman 23, PD Kanpillenwar 23 and S Hedge not out 11 were the other main scorer for India.
Mrittunjoy Chowdhury claimed two wickets for 45 runs while Rakibul Hasan, Shamim Hossain and Tanzim Hasan Shakib took one wicket each conceding 35, 44 and 78 runs respectively.
