Dhaka, June 18 (UNB) - Monnujan Sufian, state minister for labour and employment, on Tuesday said that international immigration should be secured, regular and humanistic.
She came up with the remarks at the 108th Session of the International Labour Conference in Geneva.
“More investment should be made to develop skills of the youths,” she said.
Monnujan said that apart from improving skills of the workers, education and human resource development policy were very important.
Stating that workplace security was the government’s top priority, Monnujan said that Remediation Coordination Cell (RCC) was launched in 2017 to expedite the remediation activities of readymade garment factories.
The RCC will soon be turned into a permanent industrial security unit, she added.
