The 18th session of the 11th Parliament, known as the budget session, was prorogued on Thursday after 20 sittings.
Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury read out the prorogation of the President at 10:21 pm.
Four bills were passed in the House during the session that convened on June 5.
On June 9 Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamalplaced the Tk 678,064 crore-national budget for 2022-23 fiscal and it was passed on June 30.
Earlier on Wednesday, Parliament passed the Finance Bill 2022 with some changes.
The supplementary budget for 2021-22 fiscal was passed on June 13.
Some 228 MPs participated on the general discussion on the budget that accumulated some 38 hours and 57 minutes.
Some 81 questions were received for the Prime Minister to respond. She replied to 41 questions.
The session received 1645 questions for different ministers and they replied to 1311 questions.
Besides, a general discussion was held in this session to thanks Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for constructing Padma Bridge.
