Dhaka, Jan 3 (UNB) – A fire broke out at a plastic factory at West Islambagh in city’s Lalbagh area on Thursday.

Ershadul Islam, duty officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence Control Room, said the fire broke out around 12:40 pm at the tin-shed plastic factory and spread soon.

On information, 11 firefighting units went to the spot and were trying to tame the blaze till filling of this report around 02:00 pm.

However, the cause of the fire could not be known immediately.
