Dhaka, Aug 4 (UNB) - Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has digitally cleared a number of urgent files from London apart from attending various official  programmes in the British capital.

"The Prime Minister has so far cleared 75 files digitally from London," PMO Secretary Sajjadul Hassan said.

He also said the Prime Minister is in constant contact with Dhaka on different issues and giving necessary instructions and directives from there.

Sheikh Hasina, now on an official visit to the United Kingdom, underwent a surgery in her left eye at a London hospital on Monday last.

Hasina went to London on July 19 to attend Bangladeshi envoys’ conference and other official programmes.

She is expected to return home on the morning of August 8, sources at the PMO said.
