Dhaka, Jan 17 (UNB) – The government has postponed the National Vitamin-A Plus campaign scheduled for Saturday.
The Institute of Public Health Nutrition on Thursday said it put on hold the National Vitamin-A Plus campaign for ‘unavoidable’ reasons.
The new date for the campaign will be announced later, the institute said in a press release.
The campaign was supposed to be held across the country on Saturday to feed Vitamin A plus capsules to all children aged from six months to 59 months.
Children, aged between six and 11 months, are given the blue-coloured high-powered Vitamin A capsules while those, aged between 12 to 59 months, receive the red-coloured ones during the campaign.
