“Now, many political parties aren’t there on the streets to talk about people’s rights. To fill such a political vacuum, Jatiya Party will earn people’s confidence through a systematic and peaceful struggle both in parliament and on the streets to ensure their rights,” he said.
Quader came up with the remarks while exchanging views with the leaders of the party’s Chattogram city unit at its chairman’s Banani office.
He said their party will also do politics to fulfill people’s hopes and aspirations so that it can be turned into a strong political force in the next general election.
The Jatiya Party chairman urged his party leaders and activists to work hard for making their grassroots stronger further.
He also called upon the Chattogram city unit Jatiya Party leaders and activists to work in unison to strengthen their organisational capacity ahead of city corporation polls.
Meanwhile, a five-member coordination committee has been formed to put forward recommendations for reinforcing the organisational activities of Jatiya Party’s district units under the Chattogram division.
GM Quader constituted the committee headed by Party presidium member Kazi Firoz Rashid.
The other members of the committee are Jatiya Party presidium members Mahmudul Islam Chowdhury, Solaiman Alam Shet, Rezaul Islam Bhuiyan and vice chairman Mahjabin Morshed.
The committee will visit all the districts under the division and hold meetings with local leaders to formulate its recommendations for bringing dynamism in the activities of the party and ensure cordial relations among its leaders.
