In another match of the day, Nepalese champions Manang Marshyangdi will host Minerva Punjab at 3:30 pm at ANFA Complex in Kathmandu.
In the next Group E matches, six-time Bangladesh Professional Football league champions Dhaka Abahani Limited will take on Manang Marshyangdi of Nepal on June 19 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium and play Minerva Punjab of India on June 26 at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, India.
Earlier, a suicidal goal by Brazilian defender Wellington Priori forced Dhaka Abahani Limited to concede a 0-1 defeat against former Indian Super League champions Chennaiyin FC in their 3rd Group E match of the ongoing AFC Cup’2019 at the Arena Stadium in Ahmedabad on April 30 last.
The maiden defeat forced Dhaka Anahani to the 2nd slot in the four-team group securing four points from three matches with one win, one draw and one loss while Channaiyin FC reached the summit of the group with unbeaten run securing seven points from three matches with two win and draw.
Dhaka Anahani started AFC Cup campaign beating Manang Marshyangdi Club by 1-0 goal in their first match in Kathmandu on April 3, but played to 2-2 draw with Minerva Punjab of India in Dhaka on April 17.
On the other hand, Chennaiyin FC drew with their compatriots Minerva Punjab in the group opener on April 3 and defeated Manang Marshyangdi of Nepal by 2-0 goals on April 17 at the Arena Stadium in Ahmedabad.
