Mayor Ivy seeks curfew or lockdown in NCC
Mayor of Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) Dr Selina Hayat Ivy on Sunday urged the authorities concerned, including Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, to either impose a curfew in the city corporation area or put it under lockdown as the IEDCR declared Narayanganj district as the red zone of coronavirus.

Boy with fever, cold dies in Pirojpur
A student who appeared at this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination died at Dakkhin Purba Dhawa village in Bhandaria upazila on Tuesday after suffering from fever, cold and sore throat.
The deceased was identified as Sabuj Hawladar, 17, son of Aziz Hawladar of the village.
Dr HM Zahirul Islam, a health officer of Bhandaria Upazila Health Complex, said Sabuj had been suffering from fever, cold, cough and sore throat for the last four days.
When his family informed the matter to the hospital over phone in the morning, the authorities concerned asked them to take Sabuj to the hospital, he said, adding that but family members kept him at home where he died in the afternoon.
