Coronavirus cases pass 1,000 in Bangladesh; death toll now 46
Seven more people died from coronavirus in Bangladesh in the last 24 hours till Tuesday, taking the death toll in the country to 46.

Chattogram, Apr 13 (UNB) - A 50-year-old woman who died from fever, cough and breathing complications at the isolation unit of Chittagong General Hospital on Monday morning had been infected with coronavirus, says an official.

One new dengue patient was hospitalised in the last 24 hours until 8am on Saturday, said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
According to daily update from DGHS, eight patients are being treated at a hospital in the capital.
Since the beginning of this year, 281 dengue cases were reported. Of them, 273 have been discharged from hospitals.
Bangladesh experienced a massive dengue outbreak last year when 101,354 people were hospitalised across the country. Of them,101,037 made full recovery.
According to official figures, the mosquito-borne disease killed 179 people in 2019.
