Dhaka, Aug 15 (UNB) - A flag hoisting ceremony was held at the High Commission of India here on Thursday to mark the 73rd Independence Day of India. 

After unfurling the tricolour, Riva Ganguly Das, High Commissioner of India, read out Indian President's message to the nation. 

Members of the Indian community and High Commission officials were present on the occasion. 

Students of Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre, led by their music teacher, sang patriotic songs on the occasion.
