The fire that broke out at a factory in Savar's Dhaka Export Processing Zone Saturday was brought under control after 4.5 hours.
The fire started at Paxar Bangladesh at 6:50pm.

On information, seven firefighting units rushed to the spot and could tame the flames at 11:20pm, said Shahjahan Shikder, deputy assistant director (media cell) of Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters.
"No casualties were reported and the extent of damage could not be confirmed immediately. Also, the reasons for the fire mishap could not be known," he added.
