Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen on Sunday reiterated Bangladesh's foreign policy motto of 'friendship to all, malice towards none' and said the country followed this in its all diplomatic pursuits including the Indo-Pacific Outlook.
Ambassador of the Republic of Korea Park Young-sik met Momen at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and discussed issues of mutual interest, according to the ministry.
Momen warmly welcomed the ambassador to his new appointment.
He praised the Korean model of development that transformed Korea into a developed country in less than a generation and acknowledged this model as a source of inspiration for many countries like Bangladesh.
Momen referred to the recent boost in trade, commerce and investment between Bangladesh and Korea.
He sought further collaboration with Korea to develop an export oriented economy.
Momen assured the ambassador of extending all possible cooperation during his tenure in Bangladesh.
