Awami League has postponed its peace rally scheduled to be held at old trade fair ground in Agargaon of the capital on Monday.
Proloy Samaddar Bappi, office secretary of Dhaka metropolitan north unit of the party, said on Sunday that they suspended the peace rally but not cancelled it.

He said that the date and venue of the peace rally will be announced later.
He, however, said thana-level AL leaders and activists were asked to remain vigilant.
Earlier, the party announced the rally to protest the killing, terrorism and anarchy by the BNP-Jamaat across the country.
