Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has decided to arrange Bangladesh Women's Franchise Football League from this year.
The decision was taken at the 7th regular Executive Committee meeting of BFF held at the federation board room Tuesday afternoon with its president Kazi M Salahuddin in the chair.
The meeting also decided to sign a "Contract of Agreed Objective (CAO) with FIFA under FIFA Forward-3.
The BFF, which received 3 (three) millions US dollars from FIFA under its Forward-3 fund, decided to use the amount to set up new artificial turf at the Kamalapur Stadium and in Motijheel replacing the old turfs through open tender method (OTM).
The meeting also congratulated the players and officials of Bangladesh U-17 Women's football team to be the unbeaten Group D champions of the AFC U-17 Women's Asian Cup qualifiers and qualified for the 2nd round of the meet eliminating hosts Singapore last Sunday.
