Dhaka, Oct 9 (UNB) – The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Tuesday conducted a sudden drive at a Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) office in Mirpur over a bribery complaint.
A seven-member ACC team, led by its Assistant Director Salina Akhter, conducted the drive at the DNCC Zone-2 office following a complaint that officials take bribe for providing services in every phase.
During the drive, the team found three supervisors keeping middlemen who help them take bribe from the service-seekers.
It also found no citizen charter and any list of prices for their services at the office.
