Dhaka, July 21 (UNB) - Jean-Marin Schuh has been appointed as new French Ambassador to Bangladesh.
Jean-Marin Schuh will take over charge after submitting his credentials to President Abdul Hamid. He is expected to arrive here on Monday.
Former French Ambassador to Bangladesh Marie-Annick Bourdin left Dhaka for Paris on Friday on completion of her tenure.
Schuh served as French Ambassador to Sri Lanka and the Maldives from 2015-2018, according to his profile.
He also served as Deputy Director for Asia and Oceania at Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2012-2015 apart from serving as second and first secretary in New Delhi from 2009-2012.
