Confirming the information, Imrul Kayes, additional deputy commissioner and chief of Narsingdi Coronavirus Prevention Emergency Cell, said doctors, engineers, project officers, health directorate officials, journalists and children were infected in the district.
Bangladesh has so far reported 84 deaths and 2,144 cases of coronavirus.

On Friday, it was reported that twenty-seven people, including three physicians, tested positive for coronavirus in the preceding 24 hours.
