Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) detained 46 people for selling and consuming drugs during its ongoing anti-narcotics drive in the capital.
The arrestees were made in the last 24 hours till 6am on Friday.
The Detective Branch (DB) and police stations under the DMP carried out the drives.
During the drive, 741 Yaba pills, 504.7 grams of heroin, 1.45kg of hemp and 25 bottles of phensedyl were seized, DMP Deputy Commissioner (Media) Masudur Rahman said.
Thirty-two cases were filed at police stations, he said.
