“The situation now does not call for closing educational institutions,” she said.
She made the remarks while talking at a programme at National Academy for Educational Management (NAEM) in the capital.
“Educational institutions in the country will be shut down based on opinions from Institute of Epidemiology Disease Control and Research (IEDCR),” she added.
She also said that Education Ministry will take necessary steps on opinions from health experts.

Meanwhile, the death toll from the viral outbreak Coronavirus that began in China has climbed to 3,830 worldwide till Monday.
It has infected 110,071 people globally while a total of 62,280 patients made recovery.
Earlier, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Japan, South Korea and some other countries have ordered the closure of all schools and universities of the countries over coronavirus outbreak.
