Three times champions Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi dominated the first half 3-0.

Omar scored the first hat-trick in the ongoing league, scoring four goals for Sheikh Jamal in the 14th, 69th, 62nd and (90+1th) minute at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the afternoon.
Another Gambian forward Suleiman Sillah scored the remaining two goals for Sheikh Jamal in the 16th and 35th minute.
With the day’s victory, former champions Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi took the joint lead in the league with Bashundhara Kings and Dhaka Abahani, securing nine points from three matches.

Arambagh KS are yet to open their account in the league despite playing four matches.
In the day’s other match at the new BPL venue Shaheed Ahsanullah Master Stadium in Tongi, Brothers Union and Uttar Baridhara shared one point each after playing a 3-3 draw. Both teams earned their first point in the league.
After a barren first half, all the six goals were scored in the second half. And the last four goals were scored in only six minutes.

Shafiul Islam Shafi (63rd), Faruqatjon Hasanboev (87th) and Nigerian midfielder Samson Elliasu (90th) scored one each for Brothers.
And Papon Singh (73rd), Yevgeniy Kuechrev (90+1th) and Mostafa Kahraba (90+3th) scored for Uttar Baridhara.
