Chattogram, Oct 12 (UNB) – A young man was stabbed to death by miscreants at Sagarika Road in the city’s Pahartoli area on Thursday.
The victim was identified as Biswajit Dhar, 28, son of Milon Dhar of Banikpara in South Kattoli.
A group of miscreants swooped on Biswajit while he was returning home around 8 pm and stabbed him indiscriminately, leaving him dead on the spot, said Swadip Kumar Das, officer-in-charge of Pahartoli Police Station.
Police suspected that miscreants might have killed him over previous enmity.
