HerNet Foundation is set to unveil the first episode of "Bangladesh Decides: The Youth Speaks" (BDYS) at Dhaka University on November 21, 2023.
The event is envisioned and conceptualized by the founding CEO and MD of HerNet TV, Alisha Pradhan.
This groundbreaking event, co-funded and supported by the EU Embassy in Bangladesh, is a strong testament to their commitment to empowering the youth of Bangladesh.
BDYS, a platform hosted by HerNet Foundation, aims to explore and address the multifaceted identity challenges facing the youth in Bangladesh. It will bring together the brightest minds from ten prestigious universities, giving them the stage to share their insights, aspirations, and innovative solutions to the challenges confronting an evolving Bangladesh.
The event is to be facilitated with the support of an array of partners: French Embassy in Bangladesh, Rotary Club, UNB, HerNet TV, Somoy TV, Bangladesh Pratidin, Gold Sands Hotel and Resorts, Kazi and Kazi Tea, Jaaz Multimedia, Dhaka Live, Meghna Bank, HerNet BlissMind, JCI, Zonta International, Savar Tex, BackPage PR.
Charles Whiteley, Ambassador and Head of Delegation of the European Union in Bangladesh, will join as the chief guest.
The President of this event is the Honorable Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University, Dr. A. S. M. Maksud Kamal, creating an academic and intellectual atmosphere for engaging dialogues.
