Bangladesh has received US $1.123 billion in remittance in 16 days of November.
According to the Bangladesh Bank (BB) data, in the first 16 days of November, expatriate income came through private banks stood at $749.75 million.
Besides, $420.7 million came through state-owned banks, $81.46 million through specialized banks, and $3.22 million through foreign banks.
Among the banks operating in the country, Islami Bank received the highest remittances of $203.26 million as a single bank during the period.

Janata Bank is the second receiving $128.17 million while BRAC Bank became 3rd receiving $121.53 million.
In the current fiscal year FY 2024-25, expatriates sent $1.91 billion in July, $2.22 billion in August, and $2.39 billion in September.
