Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Muhammad Imran on Sunday said the historic 7th March speech of Bangabandhu delivered ex tempore before a sea of people at the then-Race Course (now Suhrawardy Uddayan) in Dhaka will forever inspire the people of Bangladesh. 

The Cabinet on Wednesday declared March 7 as ‘Historic Day’ instead of the ‘National Historic Day’ in a bid to observe the day nationally and internationally, commemorating the historic speech of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
