Sylhet, Jan 19 (UNB) – A total of 21 Bangladeshi returned home through the Shaola Land port on Saturday afternoon after serving different jail terms in India, all for illegally entering its territory.
Border Security Force (BSF) of India handed them over to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) around 4 pm.
Lt Col Ahmed Yusuf Jamil PSC, Captain of BGB’s 52 Border Guard Battalion, said the people hailing from different districts, entered India without valid documents through different points of the border in Assam and Tripura, either to visit or in search of jobs.
