Twenty-one vehicles have been prepared for the advisers of the interim government.
The oath-taking ceremony of the new interim government led by Nobel laureate Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus will take place at Bangabhaban around 8:30pm today (Thursday).
Vehicles prepared for the advisers began arriving in front of the No 1 building at the secretariat from 3pm today.
Thirteen of these vehicles were parked along the south side of the building. The cars were adorned with the national flag on the flag stands at the front.
Transport Commissioner MAH Humayun Kabir of the Department of Government Transport, said, "The Cabinet Division instructed us to prepare 21 vehicles. We have prepared those, including 20 Toyota Camrys and one BMW."
According to Cabinet sources, the exact number of advisers to be appointed is not yet known, but more cars than the number of advisers are prepared in advance.
Officials from the Cabinet Division have indicated that the vehicles will be sent to the advisers' homes to pick them up, and then they will be brought to Bangabhaban for the oath-taking ceremony.
