On the other hand, Md Jashim Uddin, currently serving as the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Greece, has been appointed as the ambassador to Qatar.
Ambassador Ashud is a career foreign service officer from the 13th batch of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Foreign Affairs cadre, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday.
He has served in various capacities in Bangladesh Missions in New York, Colombo, Brussels and Hong kong. At the headquarters, he worked in various capacities in different Wings.
He obtained his Bachelor and Masters degree in International Relations from the University of Dhaka.
Ambassador Jashim Uddin, a career foreign service officer from the 13th batch of BCS, served in various capacities in Bangladesh Missions in New Delhi, Tokyo, Washington DC and Islamabad.
At the headquarters, he worked in various capacities in different Wings including as Director General South Asia and East Asia & Pacific.
Ambassador Jashim obtained his Bachelor and Masters degree in International Relations from the University Dhaka.
He also obtained a Masters degree in Modern International Studies from University of Leeds in England. He completed NDC course from National Defense College in Dhaka in 2014.
For innovative services, Ambassador Jashim received as the head of Bangladesh Embassy in Athens the prestigious Bangladesh Public Administration Award in 2018.
