Newly appointed Ambassador of Bangladesh to Albania Asud Ahmed presented his credentials to president of the Republic of Albania Ilir Meta at a ceremony in the Presidential Palace in Tirana on Friday.
After presenting the credentials, a private meeting was held between the President of Albania and the Ambassador of Bangladesh. At the meeting, the ambassador expressed his heartfelt thanks to president for receiving him and conveyed the greetings of President Md Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The Albanian president also thanked the Government of Bangladesh for recognizing Kosovo and hoped that this support would continue in the future. He expressed satisfaction over the existing trade and commerce between the business communities of the two countries and hoped that bilateral trade relations would be strengthened in the days to come.
