Twenty-four children of the mission took part in the competition in three categories.
The theme of the competition was Bangabandhu and Bangladesh, said the High Commission on Monday.
High Commissioner Muhammad Imran and his wife Dr. Zakia Hasnat Imran distributed certificates and prizes among the children.
The children also watched a documentary on the life and political career of Father of the Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the Greatest Bengali of all time.
The younger generation, especially those living abroad, must read more about Bangabandhu so they can prepare well to lead the nation in future with courage, honesty and patriotism, the envoy said in his speech.
The National Mourning Day marked the 45th anniversary of the martyrdom of Bangabandhu along with most members of his family on August 15, 1975.
