Ahead of Eid-ul-Azha, Big Boss is hogging the limelight in Thakurgaon’s Haripur upazila.
Currently, Big Boss weighs around 1,700 kg or 42 maund.
Afil Uddin, its owner, said he reared the bull in his house in Taltola village of the district's Haripur upazila for six years.

Everyday locals throng Afil Uddin’s house to catch a glimpse of the 10 feet long and 5.10 feet height big bull.
Afil Uddin demanded Tk 35 lakh for the Big Boss. Afil Uddin said if anyone buys Big Boss with this price, the buyer will get 160 cc Pulsar motorcycle free.
The bull eats rice bran, mustard cakes, straw, maize and napier grass and different types of fruits. “I spend around Tk 2000 daily on Big Boss’s food,” said Afil Uddin.

Last year, a local buyer offered the highest Tk 22 lakh to buy 'Big Boss' but Afil did not sell, failing to get the desired price for the animal.
But this year, he hopes to make big bucks on the bull. "Big Boss has never been given any antibiotics or steroids,” said the cattle farmer.
District Livestock Officer Dr Abul Kalam Azad said of the big size bulls reared in the district, Big Boss is the largest.
