A passenger bus was set on fire Thursday afternoon in Shahzadpur area of the capital amid the countrywide 48-hour blockade enforced by the BNP and like-minded opposition parties.
The incident of arson attack was reported at around 2:25pm, said Talha Bin Zashim, station officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defense's media cell.

Miscreants set a passenger bus of “Raida Paribahan '' on fire at Bashtola area of Badda’s Shahzadpur, he said.
Two firefighting units from Baridhara Fire Station rushed to the spot and were working to douse the fire during the time of filing this report.
