The national budget for FY 2024-25 will be placed before Parliament at 3pm on Thursday.
The decision was taken at the second meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of the current parliament held at Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.
The session will sit twice on each working day. One will be from11am to 1pm while the second sitting will be from 7pm to 10pm.
The session will be adjourned on June 13 and start again on June 19.
Committee Chair and Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury presided over the meeting.
It also decided that the speaker may extend or cut the working days of the current session.
Some 82 questions have been placed for the prime minister while 1890 questions for the other ministers in this session.
A total of 54 call attention notices have been submitted.
Leader of the House and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Opposition Leader GM Quader, Amir Hossain Amu, Abul Hasnat Abdullah, Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim, Obaidul Quader, Rashed Khan Menon, Anisul Huq, Deputy Opposition Leader Anisul Islam Mahmud, Abdul Latif Siddique, Deputy Speaker M Shamshul Huq Tuku, Dipu Moni, Chief Whip Noor-E-Alam Chowdhury and AKM Rezaul Karim Tansen attended it.
As per the desire of the speaker, Finance Minister Abul Hasan Mahmud Ali participated in the meeting.
