Police have pressed charges against two bus drivers in a case filed over the death of Government Titumir College student Rajib Hasan due to reckless driving in the capital in 2018.
Sub-inspector Md Idris Ali of Shahbagh Police Station, also the investigation officer of the case, submitted a charge-sheet with the Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court on December 22 last.
However, the matter came to light only on Sunday.
The charge-sheeted accused are BRTC bus driver Wahid Sardar and Sajan Paribahan bus driver Md Khorshed Alam.
Rajib lost his right arm after it got stuck between two buses at Bangla Motor on April 3, 2018.
He succumbed to his injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on April 17.
