Chief Whip of Parliament Nurul Islam on Saturday offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at Patharghata Sadar Jame Mosque in Barguna along with people from his constituency.
The Eid congregation was held at 8:00 am, drawing a large number of Muslims, including local residents, elected representatives, and political leaders.
After the prayers, locals extended a warm floral reception to the newly appointed Chief Whip.
Following the congregation, Nurul Islam exchanged Eid greetings with the devotees and enquired about their well-being.
A special prayer (munajat) was offered after the Eid jamaat, seeking peace and prosperity for the Muslim Ummah as well as for people across the world.
A large number of people from different walks of life attended the Eid prayers.
