Associate Professor Dr Sohel Mahmud, head of Forensic Department of Dhaka Medical College, confirmed the matter while talking to reporters on Wednesday.
“The post-mortem examinations of 67 victims have been completed and initially 45 individuals were identified through various means. DNA profiling has been done on 22 victims and 19 were identified,” he said.
"Identities of three victims are yet to be confirmed," he added.
Replying to a question, Dr Mahmud said the unidentified bodies will be identified through DNA profiling once the DNA samples are submitted.
He explained that it took some time to prepare the post-mortem reports as they received the DNA report last week.
