Members of Bangladesh Coast Guard Mongla West Zone on Sunday rescued four fishermen from Kotka beach in the Sundarbans of Bagerhat who were adrift in a trawler in the Bay of Bengal after engine failure.
The fishermen had been floating in the sea for three days after the trawler's engine failed, a coast guard press release said.

The houses of the four rescued fishermen are in Sarankhola upazila of Bagerhat district.
The press release said the rescued fishermen were given first aid and food.
Later, the fishermen along with the trawler were brought to the Kachikhali Coast Guard Outpost.
