Corona-negative certificate was compulsory for all foreign bound commuters which has been partially corrected, now it is mandatory for only passengers of the foreign countries that are seeking it, he said.
“But general health examination of all passengers at airport must be strengthened,” he said.
Many suitable and practical steps were taken from the Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry for assisting expatriates in reintegration, returning back home and providing relief and increasing awareness to fight against Covid-19, the minister said.
A decision was taken regarding necessary technical and specialist assistance from Health Service Division for operating the selected diagnostic centres properly, Ahmad said.
