DAM organized training for Drug Addiction Treatment Professionals

Dhaka, Apr 28 (UNB)- A five-day long training campaign was arranged by the Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) for the drug addiction treatment professionals in Dhaka.
The campaign was arranged for doctors, counselors, managers and other professionals from different hospitals, and drug treatment and rehabilitation centers. The training was held on Universal Treatment Curriculum-3 “Common Co-Occurring Mental and Medical Disorders - an Overview for Addiction Professionals” and Curriculum-5 “Crisis Intervention for Addiction Professionals”.
Starting from 23 April, the specialized trainers provided training on various topics of those two curriculums. Md. Amir Hossain, International Addiction Professional (ICAP-1) and Clinical Psychologist- conducted the whole training.
The participants were awarded with certificates at the closing ceremony which took place at the Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM)’s Health Sector Training room on 28 April 2019, Sunday.
