However, residence facilities will be open to the final-semester examinees of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes only.

The decision emerged from the academic council meeting of the university on Sunday.
Confirming the matter, DU Proctor Professor AKM Golam Rabbani said the council decided to reopen dormitories for examinees.

“All deans were asked to prepare a list of the examinees by February 7. Next, they will arrange residence facilities for them on a priority basis.”
“DU’s academic activities will resume on February 7. However, students will have to leave the halls once their exams are over,” Golam Rabbani said.
