ERF completes registration of its permanent office


The Economic Reporters Forum (ERF) on Thursday completed the registration of its permanent office through a ceremony at its office at Purana Paltan in the capital.

ERF President Saiful Islam Dilal and Managing Director of Abed Holdings Limited AKM Barkatullah signed the documents on behalf of their respective organisations.

ERF's General Secretary SM Rashidul Islam said the ERF purchased 4,960 square feet space at Paltan Tower in Purana Paltan on August 6, 2018 at a cost of Tk 4.34 crore to set up its permanent office.

“The government, Bangladesh Bank and many financial institutions have supported us to purchase the space,” he told UNB.

ERF's former presidents Shamsul Huq Zahid, Monowar Hossain, Zakaria Kajal, Nazmul Ahsan, Khawaza Main Uddin, Sultan Mahmud Badal, its Vice-President Syed Shahnewaz Karim, former general secretary Shahiduzzaman, Badiul Alam and Ziaur Rahman were present, among others, on the occasion.
