In a condolence message, FBCCI president Sheikh Fazle Fahim recalled Aslam’s service to the nation as a journalist.
He also prayed for the salvation of Aslam’s departed soul and expressed deep sympathy to his bereaved family members.
Aslam Rahman, crime reporter of Bhorer Kagoj, passed away on Thursday night at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) after suffering from fever and breathing complications for a few days.
However, Kamruzzaman Khan, senior reporter of Bhorer Kagoj, said Aslam’s coronavirus test report came out negative on Wednesday.
The FBCCI President also mourned all the deaths reported in the country due to COVID 19, especially those on the frontline.
He, on behalf of the FBCCI, prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the ones they left behind.
“The FBCCI is grateful for their service to the nation,” Fahim added.
