The security money of the recruiting agencies will be provided on condition of redepositing the money within one year, following a request from Bangladesh Association of International Recruiting Agencies (Baira).
The Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry issued a circular in this regard on humanitarian ground on Tuesday.
The Ministry also asked the Director General of Bureau of Manpower Employment and Training (BMET) to take necessary steps in this regard.
The recruiting agencies concerned will have to apply to BMET for withdrawing half their security money and they have to provide a bond of repaying the money within one year, said a press release.
If any agency fails to repay the money within the scheduled time, their license will be scrapped and the security money will be revoked, it said.
