IU acting Registrar SM Abdul Latif told UNB that a total of 61,942 applicants will fight for 2,305 seats this year in the entry tests that will continue till Wednesday.
According to the schedule, the admission test of ‘A’ and ‘C’ units under Theology and Business Administration faculties will be held on Monday while that ‘B unit’ under Humanities and Social Science faculty on Tuesday and the ‘D’ unit admission test under Applied Science and Technology faculty will be held on Wednesday.
The entry tests would be held in four shifts in a day. The first shift will be held from 9:30am to 10:30am while the second shift from 11:30am to 12:30pm, third shift from 2pm to 3pm and the fourth shift from 4pm 5pm, the acting registrar siad.
Necessary security measures have been taken to hold the admission tests in a peaceful atmosphere, IU Proctor Prof Paresh Chandra Barman said.
