The event was organised in collaboration with KOICA Bangladesh Alumni Association (KBAA).
Two outstanding KOICA Master’s fellows who graduated from Kangwon National University and Ewha Womans University shared valuable experiences and knowledge gained during their stay in Korea.
They highlighted Korea’s student-oriented learning and research environment, master’s thesis preparations, daily life, cultural exchanges, global networks which is 100 percent free sponsored by the Korean government.
KOICA’s Master’s Scholarship Program is designed to nurture key leaders in developing countries who can contribute to the socio-economic development of their home countries.

Since 2012, about 100 Master’s fellows from Bangladesh have participated in KOICA’s Master’s degrees in various disciplines.
This scholarship is open to Bangladeshi citizens working in public or private/NGO sector with a minimum of two (public sector) or five (private sector) years of experience and nominated by the government.
Forhad Siddique, Deputy Chief of the Planning Commission and Joint Secretary of KOICA Bangladesh Alumni Association (KBAA), shared an informative presentation on KBAA’s Networks and partnership with KOICA.
Young-Ah Doh, County Director of KOICA, congratulated the 2020 Master’s Fellows for their success in selection in the programme.
This year, six fellows in five universities (Seoul National University, Korea Development Institute, KAIST, University of Seoul, Korea Aerospace University) get this scholarship opportunity.
