Mobile financial services provider Nagad recently arranged the grand finale of "Shontan-er Konthe Quran Tilawat" for the offspring of two lakh Nagad entrepreneurs.
Sakibul Islam of Cumilla, Mohammad Fahimur Rahman of Barishal, and Mohammad Labib Al Hasan of Mymensingh were named the winners in three categories.
Contestants from 10 regions across the country took part in the first phase of Shontan-er Konthe Quran Tilawat in three age groups.
More than 6,000 children aged between 3 to 16 recorded their Quran recitations and sent them online.
Every video was checked by the members of the Shariah Supervisory Committee of Nagad Islamic. The top 10 reciters were selected from each age group.

Judges of the competition were Shariah Supervisory Committee Chairman Professor HM Shahidul Islam Barakati and Sharia Supervisory Committee Member Mahmudul Hasan Madani.
The grand finale of Shontan-er Konthe Quran Tilawat was held in Dhaka with 30 reciters. Three winners were selected from each category.
Mohammad Aminul Haque, executive director of Nagad and a member of Shariah Supervisory Committee of Nagad Islamic, Sheikh Aminur Rahman, chief marketing officer of Nagad, and Md Shihab Uddin Chowdhury, chief sales officer of Nagad, were present at the grand finale.
