Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) has vaccinated 1,63,686 workers of different EPZs and the vaccination of the rest of the workers is underway.
BEPZA is working to ensure 100 per cent vaccination to maintain production oriented working atmosphere by ensuring good health of workers, said BEPZA officials.
As part of this move, Adamjee EPZ started the vaccination programme for the workers of 49 factories.

The EPZ authority vaccinated initially 5,000 workers on the first day of the 7-day long program on Wednesday. Total 54,446 workers of the EPZ will be vaccinated under this program. 17 booths in 7 centers inside the EPZ have been prepared for it.
Md. Ahsan Kabir, General Manager of Adamjee EPZ and Dr. Mohammed Imtiaz, Civil Surgeon of Narayanganj district jointly inaugurated the vaccination program.

Cumilla EPZ started vaccination programme formally on August 18, 2021 as the first EPZ. Then, the other EPZs started the programme which is still ongoing.
